According to the Oklahoma Highway Patrol, a fatality collision occurred May 10, 2020 at approximately 1:43 am, on State Highway 259, approximately 3.5 miles North of Big Cedar, in LeFlore County.
According to the report a 2020 Mazda 6, driven by Latitia “Tisha” Vance 42, from Mesquite, Texas, departed the road to the left, struck a culvert and rolled, an unknown amount of times, before coming to a stop.
Vance was pronounced deceased at the scene.
The accident was investigated by OHP, Haw Creek Fire Department, LeFlore County Sheriff’s Office, and LeFlore County EMS.
