According to the Oklahoma Highway Patrol, a Personal injury collision occurred on March 7, 2018 at approximately 4:59pm, three miles west of Broken Bow on Old Broken Bow Highway in McCurtain County.

 

According to the report, a 2002 Ford Pickup driven by Jeffery A. Leonard, 34, of Broken Bow, and his passengers were traveling northbound on county road, ran off roadway to the right and struck a tree.


Leonard was pinned for approximately 15 minutes and freed by Broken Bow fire department and was transported by Air Evac to Medical Center of Plano in Plano, Texas with trunk-internal and leg injuries. Listed in stable condition.


A 13-year-old female from Broken Bow was transported to McCurtain Memorial Hospital in Broken Bow, OK with head, trunk-internal and arm injuries. She is listed in stable condition.


An 11 year old male, from Broken Bow was transported to Memorial Hospital in Broken Bow, OK with head, trunk-internal and arm injuries.He was listed in stable condition.
