Two injured in accident in Fort Cobb Featured

According to the Oklahoma Highway Patrol an injury accident occurred on October 8, 2017 at approximately 11:32 am on State Highway 146, approximately 3/10 mile south and 5.7 miles north of Fort Cobb, OK, Caddo County.


According to the report, a 1990 Chevy pick-up driven by Cherokee R. Bullington 24, of Fort Cobb was southbound on SH 146 when it departed the roadway to the right, overcorrected, departed the roadway to the left and overturned approximately one time.


Bullington was transported by Air Evac to OU Medical and was admitted in critical condition with head, arm, leg, trunk internal and trunk external injuries.


A passenger with Bullington, Melinda R. Bullington, 49, of Fort Cobb was transported by Survival Flight to OU Medical and was admitted in fair condition with arm, leg and trunk internal injuries.


The accident was investigated by OHP, Caddo County Sheriff’s Office, Tri-City Fire Department, Carnegie EMS and Fort Cobb Fire Department.
