According to the Oklahoma Highway Patrol, a injury collision occurred on December 25, 2021 at approximately 3:50 pm at 4622 State Highway 3, approximately 6 miles east of Broken Bow, OK in McCurtain County.
According to the report a 2017 John Deere XUV driven by a juvenile female age 7, of Wister and a 9 year old passenger also from Wister was traveling on a private driveway when the XUV made a sharp turn to the north and struck a tree.
The vehicle rolled approximately ¼ time coming to rest on its side.
The driver was ejected and pinned under the vehicle for unknown amount of time.
She was transported by Air Evac to ST. Francis Hospital in Tulsa and was admitted in stable condition with arm and head injuries.
The passenger was not injured.
The accident was investigated by OHP, McCurtain County EMS, McCurtain County Sheriff’s Department and Broken Bow Fire Department.
