Thursday, February 25th at 6:30 pm the Talihina Chamber of Commerce will host its annual meeting at the Kiamichi Technology Center, Talihina Campus. This is a very important meeting as the Talihina Chamber of Commerce and the Talihina Economic Development Initiative Members will elect 3 board members. If you would like to be a part of these organizations and you are a member in good standing please contact the chamber office to have your name added to the ballot. There will also be a place to add a name on the ballot before voting. The year end report will also be presented at this meeting. If you would like to have a voice in the operations of these two organizations or to see what they are doing please attend the meetings and help with the decisions concerning their operations.
The Talihina Chamber of Commerce is starting its 33-year operating in its own office. July 1, 2021 we will be celebrating 7 years in our own building, the Talimena Scenic Drive Visitors Center located at 201 First Street. This in its self is a large feat for a small town. Hats off to all Talihina Chamber of Commerce and Vistor Center members past and present. Thank you for your support.
