Press release from Talihina Chamber of Commerce
Several years ago Main Street received a grant to provide the welcome signs that are at the entrances to Talihina.
They were very beautiful and made the visitor feel welcome to our town.
The signs have been up for quite a while and are showing their age.
They are fading and are not giving their best appearance.
The Talihina Chamber of Commerce and Town of Talihina are teaming up to get new signs erected.
We need your help with this project.
We are sponsoring a contest for the new Talihina welcome sign’s, new design!
Get an application today and show us your artist side. You can pick up an application at the Visitors Center at 201 1st Street or at City Hall at 207 1st Street.
The person whose design is chosen for the new signs will receive a beautiful Plaque for their efforts!
