Wow! What a great afternoon !!! Weather = Perfect..Food = Awesome(Bread and Nanner Puddin’= Over the top good)..Music = couldn’t ask for More !!
More Love at Monroe than I have ever felt.
I have been part of Fundraisers, Fish Fries, and Bean Suppers in the 50 years playing guitar, but the way God works in my life–He allowed me to sit and watch the buzz, the hard work of this one.
It overwhelmed me when the first count was announced. Most of the donations were from Musicians, some kinfolk, some friends mixed in. So I am humbled by the support and love from all involved.
Here’s my Thank You to all the musicians, drummers, too! The announcers, the Roadies, neighbors doing the raffles and auctions and a HUGE shout out to the folks that cooked, served and cleaned up.
Thanks to Sharon Pennington for giving me a ride home from the Mercy Hospital, picking up the wheelchair and bringing Randy to sing. A Big ole thank you for the ride today-David Hoffpair. And thanks for Raymond Easley and Mom for showing up!!!
Let’s have another picking when I hit 90. Terry Joe over and out !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
