PRESS RELEASE

The Community State Bank is excited to present our “Race for the Ranger” scavenger hunt as we celebrate 50 years in the community. Although the current situation prohibits us from holding traditional festivities, we still would like to commemorate this milestone in memorable fashion.  This scavenger hunt will allow everyone to participate while still maintaining social distancing.

TCSB will be giving away a New 2020 Polaris Ranger 1000EPS Side by Side. So, get ready and let’s all have some fun!

Here’s how it will work:

Each contestant will pick up an entry form from the main bank in Poteau on or after Monday, September 14th, 2020. Each entry is numbered and cannot be photocopied.

We will give a clue each day starting Monday, September 14th. It will be posted on Facebook and at the front doors of the main bank at 9:00AM.

We will post clues Monday thru Friday, excluding holidays until Tuesday, October 13th. There will be a total of 21 clues.

Each clue will be a letter from a sign (business signs, road signs, park signs, or school signs) within a 10 mile radius of the main bank in Poteau. The letters will spell out a phrase that the contestant will have to identify. All signs must be identified correctly, along with the correct phrase to be entered into the drawing.

Once contestant has the phrase and all the signs identified they will have until Thursday, October 15th, 6:00PM to turn their entry in to the main bank location.  Entries received after this date and time will not be accepted.

We will add the names of all correctly completed entries to a drawing. Starting Monday, October 19th, we will start drawing names for prizes until only three contestants remain.

We will call the final three contestants to come into the main bank lobby on Tuesday, October 20th. Each contestant will draw a number to see what order they will spin the official prize wheel. The contestant closest to one dollar without going over, will be the winner of the Grand Prize. This “Price is Right” style game will ensure the final three contestants have the same opportunity to win.

See our Facebook page or visit for official rules.

We hope everyone will get excited about this contest and enjoy playing! Good luck!
