The weekends are starting to get busy and I like it !
It is starting to ramp up for Live Music in Feb. and March with several outside events already planned for Spring !
But first , let’s talk puppies ! There are only six (6) so ya need to speak up now .
Mama is a hunter – squirrels , possums , cats and skunks – don’t bark on trail but will bark on tree . She has an 8 ft. vertical run and will climb a tree . Trees and follows by sight . 20-25 lbs and an almost guaranteed
Mt. Fiest . Smart , good traveler , great pet with kids and house trained . So I figure her pups will be , too . Daddy is a Bassett hound ! I have to find homes by six weeks cause that’s as long as the bank loan will last to feed them before I go bust ! They are really good eaters ! So Smart , Sweet , good hunters , service dawgs ! The runt has the purtiest markings !
Live Music , this Sat the 26th , from 7-9 pm
there will be an opportunity to gather and be entertained at the Grand Opening of the Showtime Jamboree hosted by Oklahoma Moon . Before the Great Ark. River Flood of 2018 , before Downtown Weber’s Falls was under 8 ft. of muddy Water , there was a ShowtimeJamboree that entertained folks with a Branson-styled show on the banks of the Ark. River in Downtown Weber’s Falls . Great Classic Country and Gospel music seasoned with a few corny jokes and a dance floor for the two-stepers and line dancers . Floyd and Karen Adams were the host of the event . And Floyd , Doug York and David Love played together in the six piece band . These three Amigos formed Oklahoma Moon after lockdown and have played regularly at dances , fish fries and casinos . Another Showtime Jamboree has been on Floyd’s mind and this is the time and place to revive it .
Oklahoma Moon brings over 150 years of experience to the stage, and with Ricky Ward added to the mix on vocals and lead guitar , the music is more than entertaining , It’s exciting ! Their talented three part vocals and musicianship will keep ya dancing and entertained . And the icing on the cake will be a guest vocalist or two ! This Jamboree the guest vocalist will be Roy E. Rodgers ! Hailing from Checotah . Ok. Roy has entertained throughout Eastern Okla. and will sing your favorite Classic Country songs ! And to keep the show moving and add some humor to the Show , “Big Bear” Jimmy L. Huff will be the guest announcer !

The Showtime Jamboree will be held at the Pocola Senior Citizen’s Center , 700 Faye Ave in Pocola . Turn at the Tote a Poke and go 5 blks East ! Ya can’t miss it ! So don’t forget it and invite all your friends this Sat . the 26th from 7-9 pm ! This event will be every 4th Sat of the month !

There will be dancing this Friday the 25th over at Fort Smith Senior Activity Center on Cavanaugh Rd. . Music from 7-10 pm . The Wildhorse Band takes the stage and is one of my favorite Classic Country acts !

Spiro Eagles will have Earl Hearon and the Sound of Country this Sat. the 26th . Great dance music , big dance floor so dust off of your dancing shoes . Music starts at 7 pm . And I hear that there will be a surprise Birthday party for Earl . Not gonna reveal his age but he has been making music for over 50 years . Now y’all keep this a secret from Earl and it will be a big surprise ! Happy Birthdat 2222222 UUU !

This Saturday the 26th , at the I-40 Dance and Music Hall , Libby Starkes and the Stray Dawgs will be providing the Dance music ! Music starts at 7 pm so get there early and don’t miss a song from the talented singer and her rowdy band of misfits !
