According to an OHP report a personal injury collision occurred about 5:55 AM January 30th on State Highway 82 one-half mile north of County Road (1260) in Haskell County.
The report states that Katelyn Bray of Stigler was driving a 2004 Chevy pickup northbound. For unknown reasons, the truck departed the roadway to the right about 42 feet before re-entering the roadway for about 180 feet. Bray then began to lose control, departing the roadway to the right a 2nd time and travelled approximately 56 feet before rolling one-half times, coming to rest on its top.
Bray was transported by Pafford EMS to Mercy in Fort Smith with head injuries and was admitted in stable condition.
Bray’s passenger, Nathan Sage, also of Stigler, was transported by Pafford EMS to St. Francis in Muskogee with head and external trunk injuries and admitted in stable condition.
Investigated by OHP and assisted by Haskell County Sheriff’s Department, Pafford EMS, Stigler Fire Department and Lequire Fire Department.
