The LeFlore County Historical Society is pleased to announce the winners of the 2024 Fantasy Forest Tree Decorating Contest

Tree # 3, decorated by Josh Blaylock County Commissioner #2, and Tree #1, decorated by Bill Bledsoe, were both declared winners.

This year there were 16 trees in the competition
The contest brought a friendly competition between Bledsoe and Blaylock, vying to win the competition. “

County Commissioner District #2 tree and Commissioner Josh Blaylock.
One day Tree #1 would be in the lead and then another day Tree #3 would be in the lead.” This went back and forth, so the Historical Society declared both as winners.
Helping Hands Daycare Tree received the third highest votes.
“The response to decorating the trees was great this year, and voting brought in $498.00 for the Historical Society,” said Deaton, “I would like to thank everyone who participated in decorating a tree and for those who came into the museum and voted. We have a great community, and I want to thank everyone for their support throughout the year.”
