I’m Gary Gray, and I would like to announce that I’m running for Poteau Street Commissioner.
I was born and raised here in Poteau Oklahoma and attended Poteau Public schools. I was employed by the Oklahoma Department of Transportation for 24 years. I gained valuable experience while employed at DOT, such as what causes roads to deteriorate and how to correctly repair roads.
I’m the right person to be Poteau’s Street Commissioner. I can make the necessary changes to fix the drainage problems that Poteau streets are experiencing, which is a major cause of the deterioration of the streets. After the drainage problems are solved, I can then repair the streets, and our streets and roads will last longer.
Another problem with Poteau streets are the street signs, a lot of them are an embarrassment to our town. They are leaning over, rusted out, or just plain missing. A lot of them are unreadable.
Now I’m not saying I can fix everything at once, or even in a year or two years. Our streets have been neglected for so long that it will take time to fix everything. But I can make a big difference one year at a time if I’m elected Poteau Street Commissioner.
The citizens of Poteau deserve better streets. Without investing in our streets how we can we expect to attract new citizens and new businesses to our town?
Vote Gray to Pave the Way.
