WILBURTON, Okla. – The 5th Annual Eastern Oklahoma State College Mountaineer 5K will be held virtually this year from Nov. 9 – Nov. 15, 2020. The entry fee will be $30.
“As champions of the Mountaineer community and beyond, we are facing an unprecedented challenge with the global COVID-19 pandemic,” said Teresa Brady, Executive Director of the EOSC Foundation and Alumni Relations. “We are all working to do our part to protect the health and well-being of students, faculty, staff and our running/walking community. We have decided to make this year’s Mountaineer 5K a virtual event.”
Each runner will be asked to complete their run individually between Nov. 9 and Nov. 15. After their run is completed, participants will submit their time, registration form and payment either by mail or online at eosc.edu by Nov. 20 at 11:59 p.m.
Runners will receive a t-shirt and a finisher medal. Drive-through packet pickups will be held at all four of the EOSC campus locations. Dates for pick up will be scheduled at a future date.
The Mountaineer 5K is a Choctaw Nation PACE registered event. PACE runners will submit their time, registration form, and location for shirt and finisher medal pick up to:
