NORTHEAST

Birch: August 18. Elevation is 1 ft. below normal and stable, water temperature 85°F and stained. (USACE Lake Level) Crappie good on jigs and minnows around brush structure. Report submitted by Jeremy Bersche, game warden stationed in Osage County.

Copan: August 17. Elevation is normal and stable, water temperature 84°F and stained. (USACE Lake Level) Blue, channel, and flathead catfish good on chicken liver, cut bait, live bait, live shad, shad, sunfish, and worms below the dam, main lake, riprap, rocks, and shorelines. Crappie slow on hair jigs, minnows, PowerBait, small lures, and tube jigs around brush structure and docks. Report submitted by Lt. Eucha: August 18. Elevation is normal and stable, water temperature 86°F and clear. Fort Gibson: August 18. Elevation is normal and rising, water temperature 84°F and clear. (USACE Lake Level) Largemouth bass fair on crankbaits, jigs, spoons, topwater lures, and worms around coves, docks, and shorelines. Striped bass hybrids and white bass good on crankbaits, hair jigs, in-line spinnerbaits, and spoons below the dam, channels, and main lake. Blue and channel catfish good on chicken liver, shad, stinkbait, sunfish, and worms below the dam, channels, coves, and main lake. Report submitted by Cody Morris, game warden stationed in Wagoner County.

Greenleaf: August 18. Elevation is normal and stable, water temperature 84°F and clear. Largemouth bass good on crankbaits, flukes, minnows, plastic baits, spinnerbaits, topwater lures, and worms around brush structure, creek channels, docks, shorelines, and weed beds. Channel catfish good on dough bait, minnows, shad, stinkbait, and worms around coves, creek channels, docks, flats, and shorelines. Crappie good on hair jigs, jigs, minnows, slabs, and small lures around brush structure, docks, and weed beds. Report submitted by Dylan Langford, game warden stationed in Muskogee County.

Kaw: August 19. Elevation is 3 ft. below normal and falling, water temperature 84°F and clear. (USACE Lake Level) Largemouth and spotted bass good on buzz baits, crankbaits, jigs, plastic baits, and topwater lures around brush structure, docks, riprap, shorelines, and standing timber. Striped bass hybrids and white bass excellent on crankbaits, hair jigs, in-line spinnerbaits, jigs, sassy shad, shad, and spoons below the dam, main lake, points, rocks, and shallows. Crappie good on hair jigs, jigs, live bait, and minnows around brush structure, coves, and standing timber. Comments: Lake is very low and new hazards exist every day. Report submitted by Spencer Grace, game warden stationed in Kay County.

Keystone: August 18. Elevation is 2 ft. above normal and stable, water temperature 85°F and stained. (USACE Lake Level) Largemouth bass fair on jigs and plastic baits around brush structure, creek channels, riprap, and rocks. Blue catfish good on cut bait around dam, flats, and main lake. Crappie and bluegill sunfish good on minnows around docks. Report submitted by Bailey Johnson, game warden stationed in Creek County.

Lower Illinois River: August 16. Elevation is 1.5 ft. above normal and stable, water temperature 64°F and clear. All fishing is slow. Comments: Current river flow 4,600 CFS. Report submitted by Jerry Henry, game warden stationed in Sequoyah County.

Oologah: August 18. Elevation is normal and stable, water temperature 80°F and clear. White bass slow on crankbaits and in-line spinnerbaits around flats and main lake. Blue and channel catfish slow on shad, shrimp, and worms below the dam. Report submitted by J.D. Skiatook: August 18. Elevation is 7 ft. below normal and stable, water temperature 85°F and clear. Sooner: August 18. Elevation is normal and stable, water temperature 85°F and clear. Largemouth bass fair on plastic baits and topwater lures around brush structure and weed beds. Striped bass hybrids fair on jigs and live shad around main lake. Blue and channel catfish fair on cut bait, stinkbait, and sunfish around coves and flats. Report submitted by Stephen Paul, game warden stationed in Noble County.

Tenkiller: August 18. Elevation is 2.5 ft. above normal and rising, water temperature 83°F and murky. (USACE Lake Level) Largemouth and spotted bass fair on crankbaits, jigs, plastic baits, and topwater lures around coves, docks, and shorelines. White bass fair on crankbaits, hair jigs, in-line spinnerbaits, and spoons around channels and main lake. Blue and channel catfish good on chicken liver, shad, stinkbait, sunfish, and worms around coves, creek channels, and main lake. Comments: A lot of debris is moving down the lake from the river and creeks due to the recent heavy rainfall. NORTHWEST

Canton: August 17. Elevation is normal and stable, water temperature 83°F and stained. SOUTHEAST

Blue River: August 19. Elevation is normal and stable, water temperature 81°F and clear. (USGS Lake Level) Largemouth, smallmouth, and spotted bass good on crankbaits, jerk baits, jigs, spinnerbaits, topwater lures, and tube jigs around brush structure, channels, rocks, shallows, shorelines, and weed beds. Channel catfish fair on chicken liver, punch bait, stinkbait, and worms around brush structure, channels, and rocks. Report submitted by Ethan Lovelace, biologist at the Blue River Public Fishing and Hunting Area.

Broken Bow: August 16. Elevation is 7 ft. below normal and falling, water temperature 86°F and clear. Eufaula: August 16. Elevation is 1 ft. below normal and rising, water temperature 87°F and murky. (USACE Lake Level) Largemouth, smallmouth, and spotted bass fair on Alabama rigs, crankbaits, lipless baits, and plastic baits around channels, docks, main lake, and points. Blue, channel, and flathead catfish fair on chicken liver, cut bait, live bait, live shad, and shad around channels, discharge, river channel, river mouth, and tailwater. Striped bass, striped bass hybrids, and white bass fair on crankbaits, flukes, jigs, lipless baits, and live bait around discharge, flats, and tailwater. Report submitted by Jake Rowland, game warden stationed in McIntosh County.

Konawa: August 18. McGee Creek: August 16. Elevation is 2 ft. below normal and stable, water temperature 85°F and stained. Texoma: August 16. Elevation is normal and stable, water temperature 88°F and clear. (USACE Lake Level) Striped bass fair on live shad, sassy shad, and slabs around channels, main lake, points, and river channel. Blue, channel, and flathead catfish good on dough bait, live shad, and punch bait around channels, coves, main lake, and points. Crappie fair on caddis flies, hair jigs, and jigs around brush structure, coves, docks, and points. Comments: Fishing has been tough for striper this week. They are biting on live shad and some topwater action. Catfish continue to be good on punch bait near river channels. Crappie are good on minnows and jigs near brush piles in open water. Report submitted by Garrett Beam, game warden stationed in Bryan County.

Wister: August 16. Elevation is normal and stable, water temperature 97°F and stained.
