Grand: December 27. Elevation is normal and stable, water temperature 47°F and murky. (USACE Lake Level) Largemouth bass fair on crankbaits and plastic baits around brush structure, docks, and points. Blue catfish good on chicken liver, cut bait, and shad below the dam, and around docks and the main lake. White crappie good on hair jigs and jigs around brush structure and docks. Keystone: December 29. Elevation is 2 ft. above normal and falling, water temperature 51°F and clear. (USACE Lake Level) Largemouth bass fair on Alabama rigs, bill baits, crankbaits, plastic baits, small lures, and spinnerbaits around brush structure, the main lake, and rocks. Blue and channel catfish good on live bait and shad around the main lake, river channel, and river mouth. Black and white crappie fair on jigs and minnows around brush structure, docks, and rocks. Lower Illinois River: December 27. Elevation is normal and stable, water temperature 52°F and clear. Rainbow trout good on caddis flies, in-line spinnerbaits, midges, nymphs, PowerBait, and worms below the dam, and along shallows and shorelines. Blue River: December 29. Elevation is normal and stable, water temperature 52°F and clear. Konawa: December 28. Elevation is normal and stable, water temperature 54°F and clear. Largemouth bass good on Alabama rigs, crankbaits, and plastic baits around the main lake, points, river channel, and weed beds. Striped bass hybrids and white bass fair on Alabama rigs, crankbaits, and live shad around the discharge, inlet, and river channel. McGee Creek: December 27. Elevation is 5 ft. below normal and falling, water temperature 49°F and stained. (USACE Lake Level) Largemouth and spotted bass excellent on Alabama rigs, bill baits, crankbaits, in-line spinnerbaits, jigs, and other artificial lures around brush structure, docks, points, riprap, shallows, and shorelines. Channel and flathead catfish good on cut bait, live shad, shrimp, and stinkbait around channels, the main lake, and rocky areas. Sardis: December 27. Elevation is 0.5 ft. below normal and stable, water temperature 50°F and stained. Blue, channel, and flathead catfish fair on cut bait, shad, sunfish, and worms around brush structure, channels, the main lake, points, and standing timber. Texoma: December 29. Elevation is normal and stable, water temperature 50°F and clear. (USACE Lake Level) Striped bass good on flukes and live shad below the dam, and around channels, the main lake, points, and the river channel. Blue, channel, and flathead catfish good on cut bait, dough bait, live shad, punch bait, and stinkbait below the dam, and around channels, docks, the main lake, points, and the river channel. Black and white crappie fair on caddis flies, hair jigs, jigs, minnows, and nymphs around brush structure, coves, docks, points, and standing timber. Fishing this week has been good. Striper are biting very well below the Denison dam on live shad and are also being caught in the main lake on live shad and flukes. Catfish are good on live and cut shad near channels and ledges.
