Blue River PFHA: January 14. Elevation is normal and stable, water temperature 38°F and stained. (USGS Lake Level) Rainbow trout good on caddis flies, in-line spinnerbaits, midges, nymphs, PowerBait, small lures, spoons around brush structure, channels, creek channels, rocks. Konawa: January 12. Elevation is normal and stable, water temperature 48°F and clear. Largemouth bass slow on Alabama rig, crankbaits, plastic baits around main lake, points, river channel, weed beds. Striped hybrid and white bass slow on Alabama rigs, crankbaits, live shad around discharge, main lake, river channel. Texoma: January 12. Elevation is normal and stable, water temperature 53°F and clear. (USACE Lake Level) Bass good on flukes, live shad around channels, main lake, points, river channel. Catfish good on cut bait, dough bait, live shad, punch bait, stinkbait around channels, coves, docks, points, river channel, river mouth.
Crappie fair on caddis flies, grubs, hair jigs, jigs, minnows, nymphs around brush structure, coves, docks, points, standing timber.
Comments: Fishing this week has been good other than the weather. Striper are being very well on deadsticking and live bait. Catfish are good on live bait and cut bait near river channels and the mouth of the river. Crappie are biting on jigs near brush piles around docks. Broken Bow: January 11. Elevation is 2 ft. above normal and rising, water temperature 41°F and clear. (USACE Lake Level) Bass fair on Alabama rig, crankbaits, plastic baits, spoons around brush structure, main lake, points, standing timber. Crappie fair on hair jigs, jigs, spoons around brush structure, main lake, points, standing timber. Comments: Most fish are suspended in 30 plus feet of water.
