NORTHEAST

Keystone: January 13. Elevation is 2 ft. below normal and falling, water temperature 46°F and clear. (USACE Lake Level) Catfish good on live bait, live shad, minnows around main lake, river mouth.  Crappie good on jigs, live bait, minnows around brush structure, rocks. Birch Reservoir: January 12. Elevation is normal and stable, water temperature 40°F and stained. (USACE Lake Level) Crappie good on hair jigs, minnows around brush structure, channels, creek channels. Report submitted by Jeremy Bersche, game warden stationed in Osage County.

SOUTHEAST

Blue River PFHA: January 14. Elevation is normal and stable, water temperature 38°F and stained. (USGS Lake Level) Rainbow trout good on caddis flies, in-line spinnerbaits, midges, nymphs, PowerBait, small lures, spoons around brush structure, channels, creek channels, rocks. Report submitted by Ethan Lovelace.

Konawa: January 12. Elevation is normal and stable, water temperature 48°F and clear. Largemouth bass slow on Alabama rig, crankbaits, plastic baits around main lake, points, river channel, weed beds. Striped hybrid and white bass slow on Alabama rigs, crankbaits, live shad around discharge, main lake, river channel. Channel catfish Slow on chicken liver, cut bait, shrimp around coves, inlet, riprap, rocks. Report submitted by Garret Harley, game warden stationed in Seminole County.

Texoma: January 12. Elevation is normal and stable, water temperature 53°F and clear. (USACE Lake Level) Bass good on flukes, live shad around channels, main lake, points, river channel. Catfish good on cut bait, dough bait, live shad, punch bait, stinkbait around channels, coves, docks, points, river channel, river mouth.

Crappie fair on caddis flies, grubs, hair jigs, jigs, minnows, nymphs around brush structure, coves, docks, points, standing timber.

Comments: Fishing this week has been good other than the weather. Striper are being very well on deadsticking and live bait. Catfish are good on live bait and cut bait near river channels and the mouth of the river. Crappie are biting on jigs near brush piles around docks. Broken Bow: January 11. Elevation is 2 ft. above normal and rising, water temperature 41°F and clear. (USACE Lake Level) Bass fair on Alabama rig, crankbaits, plastic baits, spoons around brush structure, main lake, points, standing timber. Crappie fair on hair jigs, jigs, spoons around brush structure, main lake, points, standing timber. Comments: Most fish are suspended in 30 plus feet of water. Water is cooling and rising rapidly due to 12 inches of snowfall in the drainage area.  Report submitted by Dru Polk, game warden stationed in McCurtain County.

Lower Mountain Fork River Trout Area: January 10. Elevation is normal and stable, water temperature 44°F and clear. Rainbow trout good on PowerBait, tube jigs, worms around below the dam, creek channels, spillway. Report submitted by Mark Hannah, game warden McCurtain County.

McGee Creek: January 10. Elevation is Normal (rising), water temperature 44°F and stained. (USACE Lake Level) Largemouth and spotted bass excellent on Alabama rig, bill baits, crankbaits, in-line spinnerbaits, plastic baits around brush structure, points, shallows, shorelines, standing timber. White bass good on Alabama rigs, bill baits, crankbaits, small lures around main lake, points. Catfish fair on cut bait, dough bait, shrimp, stinkbait around creek channels, main lake, riprap. Pine Creek Lake: January 10. Elevation is 6 ft. above normal and falling, water temperature 42°F and clear. (USACE Lake Level) Largemouth bass good on crankbaits, jigs around rocks. Sardis Lake: January 10. Elevation is normal and stable, water temperature 45°F and stained. (USACE Lake Level) Largemouth bass slow on crankbaits, jigs, plastic baits, spinnerbaits around brush structure, channels, standing timber. Catfish fair on cut bait, shad, stinkbait, sunfish, worms around brush structure, channels, main lake, points, standing timber. Crappie slow on jigs, minnows around brush structure. Wister Lake: January 10. Elevation is 6 ft. above normal and falling, water temperature 43°F and murky.
