Copan: July 19. Elevation is .5 ft. above normal and falling, water temperature 74°F and stained. (USACE Lake Level) Blue, channel, and flathead catfish slow on chicken liver, crawfish, hot dogs, live bait, live shad, shad, shrimp, stinkbait, sunfish, and worms below the dam, channels, main lake, riprap, rocks, and shorelines. Crappie slow on hair jigs, minnows, PowerBait, small lures, and tube jigs around brush structure, coves, and shorelines. Largemouth bass slow on bill baits, in-line spinnerbaits, plastic baits, and spinnerbaits around brush structure, points, and standing timber. Report submitted by Lt. Fort Gibson: July 20. Elevation is 2 ft. above normal and stable, water temperature 84°F and stained. Grand: July 21. Elevation is normal and stable, water temperature 88°F and stained. Kaw: July 20. Elevation is 7 ft. above normal and falling, water temperature 80°F and murky. McGee Creek: July 17. Elevation is normal and stable, water temperature 82°F and stained. Texoma: July 19. Elevation is 3 ft. above normal and stable, water temperature 84°F and clear. (USACE Lake Level) Striped bass good on live shad and slabs around channels, main lake, points, and river channel. Blue, channel, and flathead catfish fair on cut bait, dough bait, live shad, punch bait, and stinkbait below the dam, channels, docks, points, and river mouth. Crappie fair on caddis flies, jigs, minnows, and nymphs around brush structure, docks, and standing timber. Comments: Fishing this week has been OK. Stripers are biting well some days and slower the next. They are still biting on live shad, slabs and trolling. Catfish are biting on live bait and cut bait near the river mouth and channels.
