The Oklahoma Tourism and Recreation Department (OTRD) Grants Team is pleased to announce that the 2026 Recreational Trails Program (RTP) grant application period is now officially open.

Project sponsors interested in applying can download the application at https://otrd.travelok.com/recreational-trails-program/.

OTRD will now accept digital application submissions. Applicants must request a submission link no later than 4:00 p.m. on Friday, January 23, 2026. Completed applications must then be digitally submitted by 4:00 p.m. on Friday, January 30, 2026.

The Recreational Trails Program provides funding to support the development and maintenance of motorized and non-motorized trails across Oklahoma, improving outdoor recreation opportunities for communities statewide.
