Guide: Youth Deer Gun Season 2025
Oklahoma’s youth deer gun season is Oct. 17-19, marking a unique three days when young hunters can head into the woods with an adult mentor before other deer gun hunters.
The youth annual super hunting license, created last year as part of the Wildlife Modernization Act, covers hunters under 18 for all the deer hunting allowed for the year. They just need to pick up the license before heading afield for the youth deer gun season. Accompanying adult hunters cannot hunt deer with a gun, but may archery hunt while accompanying the youth hunter.
