Residents of five county school districts will have an opportunity to vote in the annual school election Tuesday, February 12, 2019.

 

Spiro Public Schools is asking for a $1,075,000 bond proposition to provide funds for constructing, equipping, repairing and remodeling school building, acquiring school furniture, fixtures and equipment and acquiring and improving school sites.

 

Voters living in the Monroe Public School district will have an opportunity to vote on a proposition which would provide $285,000 for constructing, equipping, repairing and remodeling school building, acquiring school furniture, fixtures and equipment and acquiring and improving school sites.

 

Those living in the Pocola Public Schools district are being asked to vote on a $425,000 bond for purchasing transportation equipment.

 

Poteau Public Schools is holding a school board member election. The three candidates vying for Office No. 4 are Ramona Smith, Sally Ann Hutchison and Earl Jobe.

 

The $230,000 bond proposed for Hodgen Public School would be used for constructing, equipping, repairing and remodeling school building, acquiring school furniture, fixtures and equipment and acquiring and improving school sites.

 

Registered voters living in any of these five school districts may vote tomorrow at the LeFlore County Election Board office from 8:00 AM-6:00 PM or Tuesday at their regular precincts from 7:00 PM-7:00 PM.
