Sen. Warren Hamilton, R-McCurtain, joins Canadian High School seniors Miley Breedlove and Hailey Faries, who served as pages for the Senate during the eleventh week of the legislative session from April 14-17.
OKLAHOMA CITY – Canadian High School seniors Miley Breedlove and Hailey Faries have completed a week of service as pages for Sen. Warren Hamilton, R-McCurtain. They served at the Capitol during the eleventh week of session from April 14-17.
Paging gives high school students a behind-the-scenes look at the legislative process. Pages provide important services during the busy legislative session, including assisting in Senate committee meetings and daily sessions of the full Senate. Additionally, the pages participated in a mock legislative committee meeting and floor session called Pageville, where they presented and debated bills from the 2025 legislative session.
The group also met with Governor Kevin Stitt, Senate President Pro Tempore Lonnie Paxton, and Senate Democratic Leader Sen. Julia Kirt.
Miley Breedlove is the daughter of Sabrina Breedlove and Steven Breedlove. Breedlove currently serves as Student Council Secretary. After high school, she plans to study Environmental Biology at Plymouth State University in New Hampshire.
Hailey Faries is the daughter of Cynthia Faries and Nathan Faries. Faries is involved in Student Council, art, and serves as a teacher’s aide. After high school, she plans to attend Eastern Oklahoma State College to study Sociology.
