Washington, DC–Today, Congressman Josh Brecheen announced the students from Oklahoma’s 2nd Congressional District who have been nominated to the United States Service Academies.

United States Naval Academy

  • Hudson Pollard (Checotah, OK)

United States Military Academy

  • Max Cunningham (Locust Grove, OK)

United States Air Force Academy

  • Cannon Ysbrand (Bokoshe, OK)
  • Michael Robertson (Claremore, OK)

United States Merchant Marine Academy

  • Brian Jones (Owasso, OK)

The honor of attending a service academy comes with the obligation and commitment to serve in the military for a minimum of five years upon graduation. 

While a nomination does not guarantee admittance, it is a necessary step for determining which students are qualified to attend these prestigious Academies.
