Washington, DC–Congressman Josh Brecheen and over 20 lawmakers sent a letter to Attorney General Pam Bondi requesting a criminal investigation be launched into the activities of Biden Administration Special Counsel, Jack Smith, and his grave violation of the Fourth Amendment during Operation Arctic Frost.

The Blaze wrote an exclusive on the letter, which you can read here.

Congressman Josh Brecheen stated, “the Biden Administration used Operation Arctic Frost to target its political opponents by authorizing covert surveillance on elected members of the Republican Party. We cannot let the Biden Administration and Special Counsel Jack Smith get away with this direct violation of the Constitution.”

Brecheen was joined by US Representatives August Pfluger (R-TX), Byron Donalds (R-FL), Tim Burchett (R-TN), Tony Wied (R-WI), Michael Rulli (R-OH), Mary Miller (R-IL), Paul Gosar (R-AZ), Diana Harshbarger (R-TN), Brian Babin (R-TX), Ronny Jackson (R-TX), Addison McDowell (R-NC), Lauren Boebert (R-CO), Keith Self (R-TX), Ralph Norman (R-SC), Jimmy Patronis (R-FL), Russell Fry (R-SC), John McGuire (R-VA), Buddy Carter (R-GA), Mark Harris (R-NC), Greg Stube (R-FL), Wesley Hunt (R-TX), Mike Collins (R-GA), John Rose (R-TN), Glenn Grothman (R-WI), and Andrew Clyde (R-GA).

Background: President Biden’s Department of Justice ran a covert operation, known as “Arctic Frost,” to spy on nine Republican Members of Congress. During Operation Arctic Frost, the FBI had direct access to these Members’ phone records and locations. Under the Fourth Amendment, American citizens, including our elected officials, are protected against such unwarranted searches and seizures. This protection was violated by the FBI at the direct order of Jack Smith.
