House Democratic Leader Cyndi Munson comments on release from Pinnacle Plan

OKLAHOMA CITY – House Democratic Leader Cyndi Munson, D-Oklahoma City, released the following statement on the release of the Oklahoma Department of Human Services from federal oversight through the Pinnacle Plan.

“I am thankful for the work those at Oklahoma Department of Human Services have accomplished over the past 13 years and their continued hard work and service to Oklahoma to fulfill the Pinnacle Plan,” Leader Munson said. “The care and consideration of children in our foster care system deserves to have accountability measures in place no matter what. The Pinnacle Plan got our state back on track, and I believe we are committed to keeping up this great momentum. Our responsibility as a legislature to hold our state agencies accountable is ongoing in order to ensure the best for Oklahoma children and families.”
