The precinct meetings and convention will be March 1, 2025, at the Kiamichi Technology Center, 1509 S. McKenna, in Poteau. Registration will begin at 9:30 a.m. The meeting will begin at 10 a.m. with adjournment at 12 noon. Everyone is welcome to attend the convention; however, only registered Republicans will be allowed to vote. Bring your voter ID or other form of ID to register that morning.
The purpose of this convention is to:
1. Elect a County Chairman
2. Elect a Vice Chairman
3. Elect 2 State Committee Members
4. Elect 2 District Committee Members
5. Elect delegates to the 2025 State Convention
6. Optional: Adopt a County Platform or pass any changes to the current County Platform.
7. Optional: Pass any recommended changes to the State Party Platform.
8. Optional: Pass any recommended changes to the State Party Rules
9. Conduct any other business deemed necessary by the Convention Chairman.
