OKLAHOMA CITY – Speaker Charles McCall, R-Atoka, released the following statement commemorating the anniversary of the Hamas terrorist attack at the Re’im Music Festival in Southern Israel, that claimed the lives of more than 350 people:
“On the first anniversary of the unprovoked attacks on innocent Israelis, we must recommit to supporting and standing with our ally Israel, against our shared enemies. The events of Oct. 7, 2023, must serve as a realization for all, that the enemies of peace and freedom follow no rules of engagement and will stop at nothing to commit acts of unspeakable violence.
We can never forget what happened that fateful day, and the United States must do everything in its power to help free the remaining hostages from captivity and support our ally Israel. My continued prayers go out to those hurt one year ago, and to the families of those who lost their lives.”
