Press release
MCALESTER—Congressman Markwayne Mullin (OK-2) will host a Senior Citizens Information Fair next week at the J.I. Stipe Center in McAlester to allow constituents who have questions or issues with the Social Security Administration to visit with him and members of his staff and get assistance. There will also be organizations on site to help seniors with community resources that are available to them.
WHAT: Senior Citizens Information Fair with Congressman Mullin and caseworkers from his congressional office
WHEN: Friday, October 26 from 10:00 – 11:30am CT
WHERE: J.I. Stipe Center, 801 N. 9th St., McAlester, OK 74501
Congressman Mullin has caseworkers in his Muskogee, McAlester, and Claremore offices who specialize in serving as the liaison between Oklahomans and a number of federal agencies. Caseworkers are trained to help with issues with the Social Security Administration, the Department of Veterans Affairs, the IRS, the State Department, the Office of Workers’ Compensation, issues with passports for international travel, and Medicare.
If you can’t get an answer from a federal agency in a timely fashion, or if you feel you have been treated unfairly, Congressman Mullin’s office may be able to help resolve a problem or get you the information you need.
