Noah Hendrix and Rep Jim Grego

OKLAHOMA CITY – Noah Hendrix, a junior at Wilburton High School paged for Rep. Jim Grego from April 7-10, at the State Capitol.

Noah is the son of Brandon and Carissa Hendrix. He is a member of the National Honor Society and the Oklahoma Honor Society. He’s also a member of his school’s marching band in the drum line and is captain of the Academic Team.

After high school, he plans to attend the University of Oklahoma to double major in political science and international relations.

During their four days of service at the House, pages run messages to representatives while they are in the chamber debating policy and voting on measures, and they help in the legislator’s Capitol office. Pages also participate in a mock session, in which they learn legislative procedure and how to write and debate legislation.

“I was glad to have Noah come to the Capitol this week to take part in our page program,” Grego said. “He’s a bright young man with a lot of potential. I wish him the very best in his future.”

Jim Grego serves District 17 in the Oklahoma House of Representatives. His district includes Latimer County and part and Pittsburg County.
