OKLAHOMA CITY – Oklahoma House Representative Mauree Turner, D-Oklahoma City, and the Center for Reproductive Rights will be livestreaming on Facebook to discuss the post-Roe policy landscape for abortion and maternal health and what barriers have emerged across the United States.

The event is scheduled for 12 p.m. to 1 p.m. CT on Friday, February 23rd.

The Center for Reproductive Rights will provide information on policies enacted across the U.S. during the 2023 legislative session and how the highlighted issue areas continue to trend in 2024. The speakers will address topics including: interstate shield protections and telemedicine across state lines, cross-border restrictions, and what barriers to healthcare have emerged following the Supreme Court’s 2022 decision in Dobbs v. Jackson Women’s Health Organization, which overturned Roe v. Wade post the Dobbs decision.
