The 2nd Annual LeFlore County Archery Tournament was held on January 19th at the Reynolds Center in Poteau. Cameron School hosted the National Archery in the Schools Program (NASP) event this year. The tournament was sponsored by JRT Trucking, the Choctaw Nation, Mallory-Martin Funeral Home, Calvary Church, and Dowden-Roberts Funeral Home and managed by TNT on the Go, LLC owned by world record holder Brian Jackson of Tahlequah.
In the junior high division, Cameron was crowned the county champion. Howe earned runner-up and Arkoma earned third place. Cameron won county champion in the high school division as well. Howe was runner-up and Panama earned third.
