Congratulations to the 5th grade boys Poteau Pirates and the 5th grade girls Little Lady Pirates!

These teams played in the Arkansas River Valley Basketball League where they both went undefeated during the season.

On Saturday, March 5th, both teams also won their respective championship games held at Westside School in Hartman, Arkansas.

The boys played the Cedarville Pirates and won a nail-biter with a score of 28-27. The girls played the IC Buffs and won with a score of 45-10. 

If these teams are any indication, the future for Poteau basketball is bright.
