Shady Point School’s Karli and Kara Albert competed in the ORES State Track Championship Saturday April 28th at McAlester High School.
Karli took the state championship in the shot put with a winning throw of 34 feet.
She also took state runner-up in the discus with a throw of 81 feet.
Kara won the state championship in the 1600m run with a time of 5:47.
She also took 3rd place in the high jump with a height of 4’4″.
Karli is in 7th grade and Kara is in 6th grade.
