It was great working with Brian Jackson, Scott Wagner, and Stephen-Paul Lambert to help Calvary Church host their first Arrows for Missions archery tournament.
Thank you guys for letting me help with a new event, expanding archery locally and for a great cause! As far as I know, this was the first private/church organization in LeFlore County to host a tournament inviting NASP schools.
I was glad to see two of our own Cameron archers, Laken and Trenton, shoot great at their church’s tournament!
To date, 14 of the 17 school districts in LeFlore County are affiliated with NASP (National Archery in the Schools Program) and several are active.
Four NASP tournaments will be held this year in our county…
January 5-6 – 6th Annual Shady Point Archery Tournament @ the Reynolds Center in Poteau
January 12-13 – 3rd Annual Cameron Archery Tournament @ Cameron Arena
January 24 – 4th Annual LeFlore County Archery Tournament @ Cameron Arena
February 9 – 1st Annual Howe Archery Tournament @ Howe School
