CASC Lady Viking, Hunter Brown, Named NJCAA Pitcher of the Week
Hunter Brown, a sophomore pitcher for the Carl Albert State College Lady Vikings, has been named the NJCAA Softball Region II Division I Pitcher of the Week.
Brown is a right handed pitcher from Wister, Oklahoma, who pitched a complete seven-inning game with 11 K’s on March 8, 2019 against Fort Scott Community College with a 9-2 win. On March 10, 2019, Hunter pitched three shutout innings with 1 K in a 12-0 home win against North Arkansas College.
“I couldn’t be more proud to coach such an outstanding player,” said David Holt, Lady Viking Head Coach. “Hard work truly pays off and we are excited to celebrate Hunter’s accomplishment.”
