WILBURTON, OK (May 22, 2018) – Eastern Oklahoma State College’s Athletic Department is hosting multiple basketball camps designed to assist area youth develop and refine their skills.
The first camp of the summer will take place June 4-5 and is being held by Head Women’s Basketball Coach Brandon Taylor. From 9 a.m. to 11 a.m., Taylor’s camp will see participants ages 6 through 9 focus on the fundamentals of basketball; and from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. participants ages 10 to 15 will work on improving their athletic abilities. The cost to attend Taylor’s camp is $45.
In addition, Head Men’s Basketball Scott Edgar is hosting two camps. Edgar’s first camp is scheduled for June 27-28 from 10 a.m. to 11:30 a.m., and the second camp for July 18-19 from 12:30 p.m. to 2 p.m. Both of Edgar’s camps are open to participants ages 6 to 13 and will cost $20 each.
All camps mentioned are open to both boys and girls and will take place in Wilburton at the C.C. Dunlap Fieldhouse. Participants are advised to bring good running shoes and wear athletic clothing. Concessions will be available for purchase.
To ensure safety, campers are not allowed to leave the premises early without direct correspondence between the parent and the camp director.
Registration for all events will begin 30 minutes prior to the beginning of each camp. Please make all checks payable to EOSC Foundation.
