OKLAHOMA CITY – Rep. Eddy Dempsey, R-Valliant, presented the Whitesboro slow-pitch softball team with a citation on the Oklahoma House of Representatives Floor on Tuesday.
The Whitesboro slow-pitch softball team secured Whitesboro’s first state title as the Class B slow-pitch softball state champions. The team claimed victory over the third-ranked Leedey High School.
“Winning the state championship takes talent, hard work, and determination,” Dempsey said. “Congratulations, Whitesboro High School softball team, for showcasing all three and bringing home the title!”
Coach Peyton Baker and Coach Nick Baker led the team to victory. Dempsey honors the following members of the team:
