Poteau, Ok, March 25, 2024 – Special Olympics Area 10 is thrilled to announce its upcoming Bocce and Cornhole Competition, scheduled to take place on Saturday, March 30, 2024, at Poteau High School. This event promises a day of spirited competition and camaraderie among athletes, parents, and the community.
The competition schedule is as follows:
- Cornhole Registration: Begins at 8:30 am
- Competition Start Time: 9:00 am
- Bocce (Single and Unified) Registration: Begins at 10:30 am
- Competition Start Time: 11:00 am
This event is not only a showcase of athletic prowess but also serves as a crucial step for athletes on their journey to the Special Olympics Summer Games in May. It is mandatory for athletes intending to participate in the Summer Games to compete in the local event to qualify.
The Area 10 Management Team is excited to host this event, providing a platform for our athletes to demonstrate their skills and determination. The Bocce and Cornhole Competition not only celebrates athleticism but also promotes inclusion and unity within our community.
