The Poteau Mainstreet Matters organization would like to thank the local community for all the donations given towards the “Homeless Care Kit Drive this last month. They collected donations for two weeks, organized a plan for assembling them and then delivered them just before the bad weather arrived in the area.
Mary Parham, Poteau Mainstreet Matters Executive Director, said, “Thanks to your help, we were able to supply Poteau Police Department with over 50 care kits to hand out to those that are in need! We want to say a special thanks to the Poteau 4H club leader, Amber Reece, for helping us put this plan together and to the EAST Program leader, Kelly Doyle Falkner, at KTC Poteau Campus for assembling the kits! Another successful partnership project completed in our wonderful community!”
