Elevation is normal and stable, water temperature 72°F and clear. Largemouth bass fair on crankbaits, lipless baits, and plastic baits around points, river channel, and weed beds. Striped bass hybrids and white bass fair on Alabama rigs, crankbaits, and live shad around coves, discharge, main lake, and river channel. Channel catfish slow on chicken liver, cut bait, and shrimp around inlet, riprap, and weed beds. Report submitted by Garret Harley, game warden stationed in Seminole County.

McGee Creek: October 27. Elevation is 2 ft. below normal and rising, water temperature 75°F and murky. Texoma: October 29. Elevation is 4 ft. below normal and stable, water temperature 63°F and stained. (USACE Lake Level) Striped bass good on live bait, live shad, and topwater lures around channels, main lake, points, and river channel. Blue, channel, and flathead catfish fair on cut bait, dough bait, live bait, live shad, PowerBait, and punch bait around channels, creek channels, docks, main lake, points, river channel, and river mouth. Crappie fair on caddis flies, hair jigs, and minnows around brush structure, coves, docks, points, rocks, and standing timber. Comments: Fishing this week has been good for striper. They are feeding on live shad very well right now. Water temps are dropping, and the fish are biting. Catfish are good on drifting cut and live shad near river channels.
