Mary Ellen (Gordon) Sanders of Heavener, Oklahoma was born March 13, 1950 in Siloam Springs, Arkansas to Fred William and Anna Mae (Fletcher) Gordon and passed away November 25, 2023 in Fort Smith, Arkansas at the age of 73.

Linda McDaniel of Heavener, Oklahoma

Numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and a host of friends
She was preceded in death by her parents, Fred and Anna Gordon; one son, Ron Owens; and one brother, John Gordon.
Mary was a long- time resident of the area, a 1968 graduate of Heavener High School, and a retired CNA/CMA. She was a member of the Forrester Baptist Church. Mary loved spending time with her family, grandkids, and friends. She will be missed by all whom loved and knew her.
Memorial service will be 10 a.m., Saturday, December 2, 2023 at the Forrester Baptist Church in Heavener, Oklahoma with Reverend Mike Steelman and Reverend Mark Cook officiating. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Dowden-Roberts Funeral Home of Heavener, Oklahoma.
