Graveside Memorial Service for Garry Maples, 73 of Poteau, Oklahoma  will be at 10:00 am on Monday, January 6, 2025 at Fort Smith National Cemetery in Fort Smith, Arkansas. Services are under the direction of Grace Funeral Service of Poteau, Oklahoma.

Garry was born on May 29, 1951 in Springfield, Missouri to Annie M (Hays) and Omer G Maples and passed away on July 26, 2024 in Poteau, Oklahoma. He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Paul Maples. Garry was a proud United States Army Veteran and drove a truck for over 50 years.

Survivors include his brothers, Larry Maples (Jo), Eugene Maples (Tracy), Gale Maples (Deanna), Nathan Chartier (Kayla); sister-in-law, Lisa Maples; other family members and friends.
