#theGAC VOLLEYBALL OFFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK – Kate Wright, OH, Southern Nazarene, So., Oak Point, Texas
Wright helped the Crimson Storm pick up two wins at the Kathleen Brasfield Invitational. She tallied 15 kills and 17 digs in a five-set win against UT Permian Basin. Against No. 2 Angelo State, she collected 13 kills and hit .244. She closed out the week with 23 kills against Adams State. She hit .364 in the win.
#theGAC VOLLEYBALL DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK – Mackenzie Frazee, MB, Oklahoma Baptist, So., Colorado Springs, Colorado
Frazee and the Bison opened the season with a 3-1 weekend. She averaged a league-leading 1.64 blocks per set. After she opened the season with five blocks against Colorado State-Pueblo, she collected 11 in a four-set win against Texas A&M International. She finished with three in a sweep of Western Colorado and four against No. 8 West Texas A&M.
#theGAC VOLLEYBALL SETTER OF THE WEEK – Courtney Hanson, S, Ouachita Baptist, Sr., Arlington, Texas
Hanson paced the conference in assists per set, 9.79, as the Tigers went 3–1 at the UT Tyler Patriot Classic. She amassed 38 assists and 10 digs against UT Dallas and 33 assists in a sweep of Mississippi College. Against the hosting Patriots, she totaled 46 assists and 11 digs. She finished her week with 20 assists and 12 digs against No. 7 Central Oklahoma.
