Grand: September 7. Elevation is normal and stable, water temperature 79°F and stained. (USACE Lake Level) Largemouth bass good on crankbaits, plastic baits, and spinnerbaits around brush structure, docks, and points. Blue catfish fair on cut bait and shad below the dam, docks, and main lake. White bass fair on in-line spinnerbaits and jigs below the dam, flats, main lake, and points. Kaw: September 2. Elevation is 3 ft. above normal and falling, water temperature 84°F and stained. (USACE Lake Level) Largemouth and spotted bass fair on buzz baits, crankbaits, jerk baits, jigs, lipless baits, plastic baits, and topwater lures around coves, points, riprap, rocks, and shorelines. Striped bass, striped bass hybrids, and white bass fair on flukes, jerk baits, jigs, live bait, live shad, sassy shad, shad, and topwater lures below the dam. Paddlefish fair snagging below the dam. Keystone: September 8. Elevation is 2 ft. above normal and falling, water temperature 77°F and clear. (USACE Lake Level) Largemouth bass good on Alabama rigs, bill baits, buzz baits, crankbaits, in-line spinnerbaits, plastic baits, small lures, spinnerbaits, and topwater lures around brush structure, docks, shallows, standing timber, and weed beds. Blue and channel catfish fair on cut bait and live bait around main lake. Crappie good on jigs and minnows around brush structure, docks, and main lake. Lower Illinois River: September 5. Elevation is 1 ft. above normal and stable, water temperature 71°F and clear. Rainbow trout slow on caddis flies, in-line spinnerbaits, midges, nymphs, PowerBait, and worms below the dam, shallows, and shorelines. Comments: Current river flow 575 CFS. Spavinaw: September 7. Elevation is normal and stable, water temperature 76°F and stained. (USGS Lake Level) Largemouth bass fair on crankbaits and jigs around main lake and points. Blue River: September 9. Elevation is normal and stable, water temperature 78°F and clear. (USGS Lake Level) Largemouth and spotted bass good on crankbaits, jerk baits, jigs, lipless baits, plastic baits, spinnerbaits, topwater lures, and tube jigs around brush structure, channels, creek channels, points, river channel, rocks, shallows, shorelines, and weed beds. Channel catfish fair on chicken liver, stinkbait, and worms around brush structure, channels, and rocks. Broken Bow: September 2. Elevation is 1 ft. above normal and rising, water temperature 88°F and stained. (USACE Lake Level) Largemouth and spotted bass fair on Alabama rigs, bill baits, buzz baits, crankbaits, flukes, in-line spinnerbaits, plastic baits, spinnerbaits, and spoons around brush structure, channels, main lake, points, river channel, and standing timber. Crappie slow on hair jigs, minnows, and tube jigs around brush structure, standing timber. Blue, channel, and flathead catfish fair on chicken liver, cut bait, dough bait, live bait, live shad, and punch bait below the dam and spillway. Konawa: September 7. Elevation is normal and stable, water temperature 86°F and clear. Largemouth bass good on crankbaits, jigs, and plastic baits around main lake, points, river channel, and weed beds. Striped bass hybrids and white bass good on Alabama rigs, crankbaits, and live shad around inlet, main lake, and river channel. McGee Creek: September 5. Elevation is normal and stable, water temperature 80°F and clear. (USACE Lake Level) Largemouth and spotted bass fair on Alabama rigs, in-line spinnerbaits, jigs, and plastic baits around main lake, points, riprap, and standing timber. Channel and flathead catfish good on chicken liver, shrimp, stinkbait, sunfish, and worms around channels, main lake, and riprap. Blue, channel, and flathead catfish good on cut bait, shad, sunfish, and worms around brush structure, channels, main lake, points, and timber standing. Texoma: September 7. Elevation is .5 ft. above normal and stable, water temperature 81°F and clear. (USACE Lake Level) Striped bass fair on live shad, sassy shad, slabs, and topwater lures below the dam, flats, main lake, and points. Blue, channel, and flathead catfish good on dough bait, live shad, punch bait, and stinkbait below the dam, docks, points, and river mouth. Crappie fair on grubs, hair jigs, jigs, minnows, and nymphs around brush structure, coves, docks, points, and standing timber. Comments: Fishing this week has been a little better with the cold front. Water temps cooled off and the fish seemed to like it. Striper are being caught on live shad, slabs and topwater lures. Catfish are being caught on punch bait near baited holes and live shad below the dam. Crappie are being caught on jigs around brush piles and in open water near points.
