Robert Emmitt Perryman, 75, passed away on October 15, 2025, at his home in Cameron, Oklahoma. Robert was born on August 6, 1950, in Rudy, Arkansas to parents, James and Nellie (Pittman) Perryman. Robert worked for Riverside Furniture in Fort Smith, Arkansas for over 30 years. He and his wife Lynn loved to travel and find a great spot to camp with their great friends The Julstead’s. They would all get the camp setup and have the best time, whether it was hunting, fishing, or just cooking and hanging out around the campfire. He enjoyed attending all his grandkids sporting events. Robert was preceded in death by his parents, his four sisters, Gladys, Patsy, Edna Jane and Florida, three brothers, Lawerence, Tommy and Johnny Perryman.
Robert is survived by his wife Lynn of the home, his daughters, Sandy Wallace and husband, Dewayne of Alma, Arkansas and Myra Parker of Van Buren, Arkansas, two brothers, Benny Perryman and David Perryman both of Rudy, Arkansas, three granddaughters, Lillie, JoJo and
Dorothy, four grandsons, Jayden, Layne, Hunter and Case, a special niece, Erica Cooper of Shady Point, Oklahoma, three special great nephews, Parker, Collin and Dawson, numerous, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
The Celebration of Life Services for Robert will be held 11am – Monday, October 20, 2025, at The Cedars on Dewey 520 Dewey Avenue Poteau, Oklahoma with a private family burial. The Family of Robert Perryman will greet friends from 2pm – 4pm on Sunday, October 19, 2025, also at The Cedars on Dewey. Casket bearers will be Karl Julstead, Phil Cooper, Dewayne Wallace, JoJo Wallace, Kyle Pierce and Clay Shackleford.
