RUSSELLVILLE, Ark. – The Great American Conference announced its fifth GAC men’s indoor track & field athletes of the week winners. Harding swept the honors as Benson Lingokal won the track award and Vlad Malykhin earned the field accolade.

#theGAC TRACK ATHLETE OF THE WEEK – Benson Lingokal, Fr., Harding, Eldoret, Kenya
Lingokal won the 3,000-meter run at Woo Pig Classic. In his Harding debut against a field of Division I runners, he finished in a time of 8:26.13, more than eight seconds clear of second place. His time ranks as the fastest in the GAC and the 11th-fastest in the Central Region.

#theGAC FIELD ATHLETE OF THE WEEK – Vlad Malykhin, Sr., Harding, Shostka, Ukraine
Malykhin reclaimed the top clearance in the pole vault amongst Division II competitors after he cleared 5.45 meters at the Wooo Pig Classic. He finished second overall, first among non-Division I competitors. The mark ranks as his highest mark since his winning vault at the 2025 NCAA Indoor National Championships.
