Ruby (Denise) Brown Odeh, born April 13, 1957 has reached her final destination on June 23, 2026. Her Heavenly Father called her home after a hard-fought battle with cancer. She is free. Born to Betty Joe Priest and Roy Thomas Brown in Panama, Oklahoma.
She met her loving husband Ibrahim Odeh in 1977 and whom she was with for nearly 50 years. Once married they had three beautiful children Tarick (Juju), Gazi (Ashley) and Deena (Andrew). Followed by grandchildren Gareth, Naya, Ethan, Arisa, Layan, Iris, Lily, Laith, Tala and Thomas, whom she loved more than life and were the center of her world.
She had a heart of gold and all those who knew her loved her. She was preceded in death by her parents, brother John Brown and sister Vera Brown. She is survived by her Husband, children and grandchildren as well as sisters Elizabeth Smith, Pam Pickle, Brenda Brown and brother Allen Brown as well as all of their spouses, children, nieces, and nephews. All of whom love her dearly. She is forever in our hearts
The Celebration of Life Services for Denise will be 1pm – Wednesday, July 1, 2026, at The Cedars on Dewey, 520 Dewey Avenue Poteau, Oklahoma 74953 with Rev. Phil McGehee officiating. Burial to follow at Shady Point Cemetery in Shady Point, Oklahoma 74956.
The family of Denise Odeh will greet friends from 5-7 PM on Tuesday, June 30, 2026, also at The Cedars. Casket bearers will be Tarick Odeh, Gazi Odeh, Ibrahim Odeh, Wayne Self Jr., Joshua Smith and Joel Smith.
