Viewing and visitation will be held Wednesday, July 1, 2026, from 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
Johnny was born on August 5, 1959, to Ruby Dora (Ross) Traylor and Otis Marshall Traylor in Independence, Missouri and passed away on June 29, 2026, in Spiro, Oklahoma. He married the love of his life, Linda Ruth Barnett, on October 15, 1977. They shared many wonderful years together until her passing on December 28, 2016.
He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Linda Traylor; his parents, Ruby and Otis Traylor; his son, Richard Traylor; his grandson, Blake Kingsborough; his granddaughters, Linda Traylor and Ruth Traylor; his brother, Sonny Kneisley; his sister, Marybelle Traylor; and his best friend, Luke Davis, who was like a brother to him.
Johnny found his greatest joy in the outdoors. He loved hunting, fishing, and searching for arrowheads, always appreciating the simple pleasures of nature. Above all else, he cherished his family. His grandchildren and great-grandchildren were the light of his life, and he treasured every moment spent with them. Johnny was a devoted father who always placed his children before himself, offering them unconditional love, guidance, and support. He will be remembered for his kind heart, his selfless spirit, and the deep love he had for those closest to him.
He is survived by his daughters, Ashley Traylor and husband, William Moss III, and Jennifer Kingsborough and husband, Jeremy; his grandchildren, Hunter Traylor and husband, Chance, Lulu Duke and husband, Luke, Kalee Kingsborough, Johnny Traylor and wife, Cheyenne, Richie Traylor, and Sara Moss; his great-grandchildren, Cannon Crase, Riley Crase, Jaycee Traylor, and Colson Traylor; his brother, Dale Traylor; his sisters, Marslene, and Floy Traylor; his special sister-in-law, Joyce Barnett; along with numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and many friends who will miss him dearly.
Pallbearers will be Jeremy Kingsborough, Anthony Stroup, Shannon Rice, Jamie Rice, Chris Rice, and Jesse Rice. Honorary Pallbearers will be William Moss and Mike Hunt.
