Regina Elaine Duvall was born on January 28, 1958, in Poteau, Oklahoma, to Lee Miles Duvall and Doris Elaine (Wooten) Duvall. She was welcomed into the arms of her Lord and Savior on July 3, 2026.
Gina was a kind, loving, and compassionate woman who made sure everyone she met knew they were loved. Her warm smile, gentle spirit, and caring heart left a lasting impression on all who knew her.
She graduated from Wister High School and later earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education from Northeastern State University. Gina devoted her life to serving children and families. She was a foster parent for ten years, opening her heart and home to many children in need. She also dedicated more than 31 years to the LeFlore County Head Start Program, serving in various roles before retiring as the Head Start Center Director for Poteau Public Schools.
Above all, Gina cherished her family. She was especially proud of her daughter and grandchildren, who brought immense joy to her life. She appreciated the simple pleasures—good food, good music, and meaningful conversation with those she loved. Of all the roles she held throughout her life, she treasured being a daughter, sister, mother, and grandmother the most.
Gina’s legacy of kindness, generosity, and unconditional love will live on in the hearts of all who were blessed to know her. Her memory will forever be cherished by her family, friends, and the many lives she touched throughout her years of service to children and her community.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Lee Miles Duvall and Doris Elaine (Wooten) Duvall of Wister, Oklahoma; and her brother, Gordon Duvall of Wister, Oklahoma.
She is survived by her daughter, Bailey Lee and husband, Michael, of Van Buren, Arkansas; her grandsons, Samuel Pool and Jeremy Pool; her granddaughter, Addilynne Cox; her brother, Randy Duvall and wife, Joni, of Wister, Oklahoma; her sisters, Vicky and husband, Jess, of Wister, Oklahoma, and Dana Burns and husband, Joe, of Wister, Oklahoma; her nephews, Lee Akins of Wister, Oklahoma, John Duvall of Wister, Oklahoma, Chris Akins of Monroe, Oklahoma, and Brennon Burns of Buffalo Valley, Oklahoma; her niece, April Duvall of Wister, Oklahoma; her great-nieces and great-nephews, Chase Akins, Blake Akins, Brody Akins, Landon Akins, Mackenzie Heavener, and Ali Duvall; along with numerous other relatives and a host of friends who will deeply miss her.
