U.S. Women’s National Team caps Opening Round with 7-0 run-rule victory over China; Advances to the final contest as No. 1 seed

OKLAHOMA CITY — Team USA improved to 5-0 at the World Baseball Softball Confederation (WBSC) Women’s World Cup Group C Stage Event following a 7-0 run-rule victory (six innings) over China to close out Opening Round and advance to the final contest as the No. 1 seed in Group C. The Red, White and Blue faced China again today at 1 p.m. CT, with a ticket to the 2027 WBSC World Cup Finals on the line.
