Sandra Kay “Sandy” Willett

Funeral services for Sandra Kay “Sandy” Willett, 64, of Pocola, Oklahoma, will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, September 24, 2026, at Evans & Miller Memorial Chapel in Pocola, Oklahoma, with Reverend Shawn Caldwell officiating. Burial will follow at Woodlawn Cemetery in Fort Smith, Arkansas, under the direction of Evans & Miller Funeral Home of Poteau, Oklahoma.

Viewing and visitation will be held Wednesday, September 23, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. until 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home.

Sandy was born on December 31, 1961, in Fort Smith, Arkansas, to Daisy (Aaron) Beam and Jimmy Beam. She passed away on September 21, 2026, in Fort Smith, Arkansas, at the age of 64.

Sandy married Charles Willett, Jr. on June 22, 1994, in Fort Smith, Arkansas. Sandy and Charlie spent more than 30 years together, side by side from the day they met. They were truly the loves of each other’s lives, building a life together centered around family and a love that remained steadfast through the years.

She was preceded in death by her father, Jimmy Beam; son, Bradley Harper; grandchildren, Savannah McNatt and Johnny McNatt; sister, Judy Harper; niece, Paisley Biggs; and father-in-law, Charles Willett, Sr.

Sandy was truly everything to everybody. Her children and grandchildren were her life, and there was very little she would not do for them. She was always running and going for her kids and grandkids, ready to be wherever they needed her and willing to do whatever she could to help. Being a mother and grandmother was not simply a part of Sandy’s life—it was at the very heart of who she was.

Sandy had a forgiving heart and believed deeply in second chances. She believed relationships were worth fighting for and that, with enough love, patience, and understanding, almost any relationship could be mended. She was the kind of person who gave people another chance, tried to make things right, and never gave up easily on the people she loved.

Family meant everything to Sandy. She shared an especially close bond with her siblings, who were much more than brothers and sisters—they were some of her very best friends. Whether times were good or difficult, Sandy treasured those relationships and the closeness they shared.

She enjoyed going to the casino, settling in with a good book, and, in her younger years, playing co-ed softball. Sandy was also a devoted fan of “The Walking Dead” and even managed to convince her grandchildren to watch it with her, creating memories that will undoubtedly bring smiles and laughter for years to come.

Sandy’s life was defined by the people she loved and the way she loved them. She was the one who showed up, the one who gave another chance, the one who tried to make things right, and the one her family knew they could count on. Her absence leaves an immeasurable space in the lives of those who loved her, but the love, laughter, memories, and devotion she gave so freely will remain with them always.

Survivors include her husband, Charles Willett, Jr.; daughters, Brandy Harper, and Summer McNatt and husband Chris; son, Charles Edward Willett III and wife Ashley; grandchildren, Trenton Greene and wife Kelcie, Brylyn Saulsberry, Easton Wallace, Maci Harper, Lariah Beauford and husband Mark, Nathan McNatt, Monica Willett, and Tyler Willett; great-grandchildren, Sophie Greene and Jackson Greene; mother, Daisy Beam; sister, Sherry Hayes; brothers, Mike Beam and wife Donna, and Jimmy Beam and wife Kathy; mother-in-law, Mary Willett; sister-in-law, Melissa Biggs and husband Donnie; brother-in-law, Junior Harper; nieces and nephews, Dottie and husband Roy, Duchess and husband Anthony, Ashley and husband Nathan, Carrie, Landon, Stephen, Elizabeth, Eric, Chris, and Jordan Biggs; great-nieces and great-nephews, Matthew and wife Cierra, Danielle and husband Jace, Joel, Sierra, Mason, and Connor; great-great-nieces and great-great-nephews, KayKay, Lexi, Millie, Roman, Lucy, Jace Lee, and Gemma; along with numerous other relatives and loved ones.

Pallbearers will be Trenton Greene, Mike Beam, Landon Beam, Roy Don Smith, Matthew Smith, Jerry Mackey, Adam Schuster, and Chris McNatt. Honorary pallbearers will be Trey Willett, Junior Harper, Nathan McNatt, and Tyler Willett.
